چگونه آن را بشناسیم
Kufic border را بهعنوان یک واحد تکرارشونده در نظر بگیرید، نه یک تصویر منفرد: اندازه، تراکم و شیوهٔ قرارگیری آن در حاشیه یا زمینه، اغلب دربارهٔ کارگاه و منطقه بیش از خودِ فرم اطلاعات میدهد. این نقشمایه در بافندگی، فلزکاری، کاشیکاری و نگارگری تکرار میشود، بنابراین تطابق آن نقطهٔ آغاز مقایسه است، نه اثبات خاستگاه.
